I had one of those special moments that just kind of land in front of me: I wasn’t looking, it just happened, guess it was my destiny ~ creating DIDI SALON! A home to let my creativity run freely and to do what I love.

When I decided to open DIDI SALON in 2007, I wanted to design a place where both my clients and team would love and enjoy coming to. A positive, upbeat environment that is a blank canvas where we can create, as the clients is always the art and we are the artists.

I have been in the beauty industry for 20+ years and I am still loving every minute of it! What inspires me most as a stylist is knowing that I can make someone look and feel great about themselves, whether it’s just a touch of color, a fun cut, or styling away, and of course, I always enjoy a fun conversation too!

Over the years, I’ve been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to train professionally in so many fun and exciting places, like New York, LA, Miami, London, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada and certainly right here in the SF bay area! I look forward to many more opportunities to continue learning and keep growing as an artist/stylist.

FREDERICK

My love for hair and the world of beauty all started when I was six. I remembered my mother and I pulling up to her favorite salon at the time, it was called Kay's. It had a giant neon blue sign, which looked like the sparkly lights of Las Vegas. It was always so special for me to go with her because that's where the most beautiful people lined up to get their hair done. When I look back it was like something out of a Fellini film. When the stylist finished with my mom, she looked just like an Italian movie star. This is when I knew that I wanted to make people beautiful and happy!

My tenure in the business is far and wide. I have trained and worked in Beverly Hills with Vidal Sassoon as well as Glemby International, sharing techniques and skill sets with cutting edge stylists from LA to New York. My current home has been with Didi Salon for the past 5 years, where I have been able to enrich what I love to do with a wonderfully creative and supportive team.

What drives and inspires me on a daily basis is to freely utilize my natural talents, to create something of aesthetic beauty and to please the person I am creating it for!! Welcome to my world.

Hi! I’m Jenn—your colorful-maned, bright, bubbly fireball with 20+ years of hair magic under my belt. I’m not just here to do your hair—I’m here to make your day. From my roots in an Aveda concept salon in Walnut Creek to where I am now, every step has shaped my passion, creativity, and love for this craft.

I specialize in creating custom looks that fit your lifestyle, personality, and vibe—because no two heads (or stories) are the same. Your hair tells a story, and I’m just here to add the sparkle, polish, and fabulous finishing touches.

What fuels me most? The joy of transformation, the unique challenges that sit in my chair, and the magic of turning ideas into reality. Every client is a new puzzle, and I love bringing all the pieces together to create something amazing.

Becoming an educator has been a lifelong dream, and now I get to share my knowledge, passion, and energy with curious minds ready to grow and glow in this industry. Teaching, learning, creating—it’s all part of the journey, and I’m so grateful for every step.

Everything is a story.

To me, hair is an evolving narrative shaped by individuality, movement, and personal style. My aesthetic is effortless and lived-in hair that feels natural, modern, and quietly striking. When someone looks at you, I want them to notice how incredible you look without immediately knowing why. The best haircut is seamless. It belongs to you.

My work has taken me from New York to Los Angeles, where I’ve had the privilege of assisting and collaborating with celebrated stylists including Orlando Pita, Odile Gilbert, and Oribe. I’ve worked backstage at New York Fashion Week on shows such as Jason Wu and The Row, experiences that shaped my eye for detail and reinforced my belief that hair is the finishing touch that completes the entire look.

Whether refined or undone, timeless or contemporary, your hair should feel intentional and entirely your own.

I see our first appointment as a conversation. A collaboration. An introduction. My goal is for you to leave feeling confident, elevated, and completely aligned with your story.

I can name many reasons why I got into the hair industry, but one main reason is because I love being an artist! As a hairdresser, I have the freedom to do that. I love creating and making connections with my clients. Being a hairdresser is something I knew I always wanted to be, it’s fulfilling, and exciting ,and having the chance to make you feel beautiful even for one day, It’s pure joy to me!

I have been at Didi salon for almost 5 years now, while working here, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to New York to receive my Goldwell Master Colorist certification, I’ve also had the chance to attend to many Bumble and bumble and Oribe cutting and styling classes as well. I’m certified in Kerartin, Brazillian Blowout, and I specialize in Ombre’s and Balayage. Continued education is an important part of what I do and I enjoy and look forward to learning new things to bring back to all my clients. I love what I do and to get the chance to see my clients walk out the door with a smile on their face, is the best feeling!

GRETCHEN

STYLIST

Since childhood, I knew my mission and dream in life is to help others feel good and help them with their confidence. There are so many ways to make a person feel great, so I have decided to go into an industry that I love and can do both. I believe I can help someone feel good and confident, whether it is changing their look with a touch of color or refreshed with a new haircut or giving them something to help make their hair days easier, like a Keratin Treatment or Brazilian Blowout. I am here to listen to what the client’s needs are, and work on a plan to get there. I also love a great conversations and getting to know each of my clients.

I went to CSM for my cosmetology program and have been licensed since 2021 and I have had the privilege to work and assist at Didi Salon and now am a stylists working alongside with my amazing mentors and team members here at Didi Salon who have taught me all I need to know to get here today. My goal is to continue to further my education in my skills and learn everything I can, so I can give my clients the best they deserve.

I love doing dimensional hair coloring, highlighting, cutting layers and many more! I am certified in both the Keratin Treatment and Brazilian Blowouts.

I am dedicated and determined to help you with all your hair services, and I can’t wait to meet you!
